Video 5 is now ready: I did a training video today, 6/19/2013, with Lori Smith. Even though she has made many calls to retrieve emails from businesses, she had not yet ventured into getting a sale which starts after the email request with, 'You are the person in charge of marketing, aren't you?'
Lori has been gracious enough to allow this to be a training film. You can see her very first time asking , 'You are the person in charge of marketing, aren't you?' on this video.
Lori and I took turns calling businesses. I would call one so she could listen, and then she called one to start learning.
This should be a very helpful video for those of you that want to learn to sell Premium Business Listings.
In the video you will hear as I do a call back for a man that we have made several calls for but not yet reached. I finally reach him and he likes the business listing, and wants one for all four locations. He seemed open to upgrading also. We will follow up with him after he gets the other business listings added.

I think you both did very good. I learned quite a bit & will look at it again. I ask myself how bad do I want it? when I come to a roadblock and at this point actually calling businesses has been a real bad experience for me because I don't always speak clear enough and this annoys a person running a business. I did set up 1 business for the purpose of calling them once the site is getting a lot of visits from my promotion. I am taking it slow & easy to make sure I do all the needed ground work based on what you did in the video. No reason it shouldn't work.

So what is the benefit of having a city portal vs Zip Codes?
if you are the City Promoter, you get 50% of biz listings and 25% of classifieds no matter who buys or sells them. That is the same for City or Zip code Portal.
If someone comes along later and buys the City Portal, then you would get 30% on your current customers you had already signed up for the CRM, however, if that new City Promoter can decide to not allow you to have 30% of future sales.
So the Difference would be 30% if a person buys your city your zip code is in.
The CRM is a email marketing tool you can email the business letting them know you have given them a free listing and encouraging them to upgrade. How it works is you have to call the biz, letting them know you have given them a free listing, next you would ask them for a email so you can send and update. Next you would put that mail in the CRM and let it do the work for you. Great way to work from Home.
The only way to know for sure to get 50% of your own sales, is to be the CP.
